2026 Spring Baseball

Brooklyn West Little League delivers Better. Local. Baseball.

Our Spring 2026 season runs from late March through late June and is open to players who live or attend school within the BKWLL boundaries.


What Makes BKWLL Different

BKWLL offers a uniquely competitive brand of community baseball. Although we are a recreational Little League program, the overall level of play is elevated because many players also participate in travel baseball. This results in faster-paced, higher-quality games than you will find in other local recreational leagues.
At the same time, our league is designed to be fun, inclusive, and community-focused, with a strong emphasis on building friendships across teams.


Season Format

1 game per week, always on a weekday evening
No weekend games
No team practices
  • Before every game, both teams meet one hour early for structured, integrated warmups
  • Players from both teams warm up together
  • Emphasis on fundamentals, teamwork, and shared community
  • Players build friendships that make competing against each other more fun
Games will be played on local Brooklyn fields
Season runs late March–late June


Why This Format Works

Our integrated warmup model was a highlight of last season. Players formed friendships across teams, creating a league culture where competition is spirited, supportive, and enjoyable. The result is baseball that feels competitive and community-driven.


Player Experience

Every player receives a premium, fully designed jersey and flex-fit cap — one of the most distinctive features of the BKWLL experience

Players of all experience levels are welcome, though overall play is competitive
All divisions use mandatory evaluations and a player draft to build balanced teams and ensure competitive games throughout the season


Little League Eligibility

Players must reside or attend school within the BKWLL boundaries.
Proof of residency or school enrollment is required.
Players registering with an out-of-boundary waiver may participate fully; however, waived players are not eligible for All-Stars in their first year.


All-Stars & Pathway

BKWLL is the official Little League program for our area. Participation here is the only pathway for eligible players to be considered for Little League All-Stars and the chance to advance to Districts and beyond. (Selection is not guaranteed.)
